FAMILY TREES

We have nothing to fear and a great deal to learn from trees, that vigorous and pacific tribe which without stint produces strengthening essences for us, soothing balms, and in whose gracious company we spend so many cool, silent, and intimate hours.

Nice boiled double egg cup (and artistic work, of course)! I love boiled egg cups. Many years ago, my family bought a group of commercial hotel egg cups from the sale of the merchandise of the old Willard Hotel in Washington, D.C. Besides having a blue "W" on the white stoneware, they have a single egg cup on one side, and a larger egg cup on the "base" side, either for keeping your second egg warm while you were eating the first, or I suppose you could scoop your two boiled eggs out of their shells & into the larger bowl, and eat them like that. I miss things like that. Things like a toast rack. No one seems to know the pleasure of eating crisp toast anymore!
