MY FIRST PANTOMIME: A CHRISTMAS POEM

As promised, a new short film for the festive season.

Thank you to everyone who has already visited the website’s new audio streaming service and for your appreciative comments on the Fireside Half-Hour and Dickensian Christmas Bundle. One more package will very shortly be arriving in the Shop. Strictly for theatre buffs, it comprises fast-paced musings on Timing and Body Language recorded over twenty years ago.

Whatever part of the world you are in, may I wish you and your loved ones a very safe and happy Christmas and a bright future beyond COVID.

Many thanks for the wonderful poem and images for this bleak 2020 and for all the beauty and comfort your creativity has given over the years. May you be blessed in the new year with peace and health.

Best Christmas wishes to you and your family from far away in the Canadian wilderness! An admirer of all you undertake! Happy and healthy 2021, dear sir!

“You must be an actor.” The world – more specifically, my world – is so much richer for it. You bring grace and beauty and joy to all you do. Thank you, Edward. May 2021 bring health and happiness to you and all those you hold mst dear.

One wonders how many such summonses have been ignored, with the result that born lawyers may be acting still; and hands that were intended for trowels and adzes have ruined pastels and watercolors without number.

Harrowing, to think too precisely on it!

You have a wonderful gift for tapping into the source, Mr. Petherbridge The older I get, the more I listen to the child.
“The Child is the Father of the Man.”
    God be with you

At first, I wasn’t too sure about the Dickensian choices but then was wide-eyed and gripped to the end – lovely feeling. Now these will sit with the Journey of the Magi reading for treats each Christmas. Thank you, Mr P. I don’t know how you do this but will look forward to more. Best, ValTas
